Produced by the BOCERNO oil mill and a young, passionate producer, this gourmet oil is made from Franquette walnuts harvested in the Dordogne region of France, with its persistent aromas of fresh walnuts and pine nuts, Franquette expresses a perfect balance of flavour. To preserve their unique flavour and their rich content of OMEGA 3 and 6, the kernels are not toasted before pressing for a fresh and fruity result. This monovarietal virgin walnut oil gives the amazing sensation of eating the fruit.

Fresh and fruity, gastronomic walnut oil can be used in all culinary combinations, both savoury and sweet.
Cooked raw, it is perfect for making simple and quick recipes, which reveal all the fruity notes of the walnut.

Born into a family of wine growers, Charlotte has a passion for sustainable agriculture and organic food; in 2019 she launches the Bocerno project. After the acquisition of an old farm and a walnut grove in Plazac, she decided to modernise this regional jewel while respecting the heritage of the " Périgord Gold ". To create oils of exceptional quality, characterised by the freshness of the walnut and not the traditional toasted flavour, Charlotte chose to work with monovarietal walnuts and cold extraction, in order to give the consumer the sensation of having a walnut in his mouth without eating a kernel. The challenge has been successful, BOCERNO walnut oil is used daily by many star chefs and gastronomic tables, who flavour their dishes with Franquette oil.
