L’Esperelle, a story of family and passion

Nestled between the towns of Paradou and Eygalières, the estate’s olive groves boast a wealth of typically Provençal varieties: Salonenque, Aglandau, Grossane, Verdale, Picholine… These local olives offer subtle and complementary aromas.

A former master miller at Domaine de la Vallongue, François-Xavier Arnihac decided in 2019 to embark on his own adventure and founded L’Esperelle. The name is steeped in history and emotion: his grandfather used to announce “I’m going to l’esperelle” when he set off to hunt thrushes in the hills of Saint-Guiraud (Hérault). This word, from the Occitan dialect, was given to his childhood home in the Aix-en-Provence region. Today, he has made it the emblem of his olive oil.

With patience, passion, and a deep respect for the land, François-Xavier crafts perfectly balanced oils. The olives are hand-picked during the day and then pressed as soon as night falls to preserve all their aromas. Every drop reflects a strong commitment to quality, the environment, and authenticity.
