But pesto is first and foremost a gesture and an object, the mortar. Pesto and "Pistou" in Provençal both come from the Latin pestare, which means to crush or pound... To bring sunshine to your plates and enjoy simply, Oliviers&Co has selected a trilogy of organic pestos produced in Piemonte using quality ingredients.

This traditional and natural recipe brings out the taste of freshly crushed basil, without added garlic to preserve its freshness. It contains 55% organic basil. Harvested in the height of summer, the basil is then crushed with olive oil, sunflower oil, and pine nuts to create this fantastic Italian seasoning.
