A rigorous selection
We travel throughout the Mediterranean to select hundreds of expert mills using demanding specifications. Our producers guarantee us a vintage olive oil, in a pure local tradition using an approach of sustainable agriculture.
Same traceability process from orchard to bottles
We inspect over 1200 batches per year, in sensory compliance, along with rigorous physico-chemical analysis. All our oils are then bottled in our workshop in Haute-Provence. For we have nothing to hide to our customers, each label specifies country of origin, domain and producer’s name, harvest date, varieties of olives.
Unique quality and freshness
In each orchard, olives are hand-picked in by our producers and cold pressed within 24 hours after harvest. 5 to 12 kilos of olives are used to obtain an exceptional liter of oil: this low yield is the guarantee of quality. Our bottles and containers are opaque in order to preserve the quality of our oils.
Choosing your olive oil
Just like wine, each olive oil has its own personality related to a combination of several factors: the terroir, the producers’ craftsmanship, the varieties and maturities of olives used. At Oliviers&Co you will discover two major flavour families:
- The grassy flavour: more or less intense, it is characterised by lively, green notes like cut grass, artichoke, or green apple…
- The floral flavour: more or less delicate, it is characterised by a velvety and milky touch with notes of nuts, cooked fruits & vegetables.
Our collections
The “Rameaux d’Or” collection is Oliviers&Co’s cream of the crop! This prestigious quality seal rewards the work and pursuit of perfection of passionate olive growers. These rare elixirs are all from exceptional groves located exclusively on the lands of Tuscany.
French olive oil is rare, less than 2% of world production. Oliviers&Co went to Provence, Corsica, and the Eastern Pyrenees to source the best French batches of the year. This collection is a tribute to French producers, who work with the greatest care to create these true gems.
These “Grands Crus” of vintage olive oils are the perfect expression of the most beautiful “terroirs” of the Mediterranean. They have been bottled, much like wines. Each of these olive oils is a journey to the heart of the orchards of Italy, Spain, Croatia, and Portugal.
