In the heart of the village of Fornos de Ledra, the Pedra do Olival estate is part of a long-standing family farming tradition. Although the farm has always been diversified, olive trees now play a predominant role. Olive oil production, launched some ten years ago, is a continuation of the patient and attentive work carried out on the olive tree over many years. It was a natural progression, respecting a heritage and know-how handed down through the generations. The estate covers 35 hectares, divided into plots of land with around 5500 olive trees. This demanding, arid terroir favors production that is modest in volume, but rich in aroma. 

The secret of this exceptional oil lies in the art of observing the olive tree to understand its needs and harvest perfectly ripe fruit, then extracting the juice the same day, without ever using hot water during pressing. This Grand Cru can be used for both ready-made dishes and simple preparations. A drizzle added to steamed potatoes is enough to reveal all its subtle aromas!
