About This Recipe
A golden and crispy bite where tender tuna with tomato sauce and cream cheese is wrapped in a delicate brick pastry, enhanced by the Mediterranean aroma of fresh thyme olive oil.
Ingredients
At Oliviers&Co
5 tbsp. of thyme olive oil
1 jar of tomato sauce
At the market
2 cans albacore tuna
1 shallot
100 g herb cheese spread
8 sheets of brick pastry
1 egg yolk
Fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper
Directions
Crumble the tuna into a bowl.
Add fresh herb cheese, 2 tbsp. tomato sauce, parsley, salt, pepper and 3 tbsp. thyme olive oil.
Mix well.
Cut brick pastry sheets in half.
Place filling on top and fold into a samosa-like triangle. Before closing, coat each samosa with egg yolk to help it stick to the brick pastry.
Fry on both sides in the remaining olive & thyme oil until golden-brown.
