About This Recipe

Hummus is THE perfect Mediterranean appetizer consisting of grilled smashed chickpeas with olive oil. This recipe is a twister, with avocados and tomato powder. Enjoy it with friends and family!

Ingredients

At Oliviers&Co
2 tbsp Greek Olive Oil
Mini Crostini
Salt from Camargue
Tomato powder
Pepper

At the market
1lb chickpeas
2 ripe avocados
1 garlic clove
Lemon juice

Directions

Peel and pit the avocados. Drizzle with lemon juice, put them in a blender with chickpeas (set about 20 aside) and their juice, olive oil, garlic, salt & pepper.

Blend and adjust seasoning if necessary. Set aside in a bowl in the fridge.

Meanwhile, grill the remaining chickpeas in a baking dish for 30 minutes at 430°F or until they're completely crisp.

Pour them over hummus, drizzle with olive oil ans sprinkle some tomato powder.

Serve with mini crostini and crudités for dipping (carrots, cucumbers...).
