A flavorful lamb recipe, marinated with many spices, inspired by the tastes of the Orient.

Ingredients

Salt & Herbs Mix for Meat
Pressed Olive & Fresh Chili Pepper

At the market
25oz lamb, minced
2 tbsp of Zaatar Mix
1 onion
1 garlic clove
2 sprigs of flat parsley
2 sprigs of mint
2 pinches of cinnamon powder
2 Greek yogurts
Pepper

Directions

Turn on the plancha (or grill) and put the wooden skewers to soak in cold water (to prevent them from burning during cooking).

In a bowl, mix the yogurt with 1 tsp of Zaatar mix and 1 tbsp of lemon olive oil and set aside in a cool place.

Grate the onion, finely chop the garlic and chop the herbs. Mix them in a bowl with the meat. Add the cinnamon, the rest of the Zaatar mix and 1 tbsp of lemon olive oil, sprinkle with the salt & herb mix and season with pepper. Knead well.

Divide the mixture into 12 parts and with moistened hands, roll the meat into small balls around the wooden skewers, pressing well so that it sticks.

Cook the skewers on the plancha on each side for 6 to 8 minutes, turning them several times.

Serve with roasted vegetables drizzled with lemon olive oil and yogurt sauce.
