Ingredients
At Oliviers&Co
2 fl oz Olive Oil La Classique
1 jar Black or Green Tapenade
1 salt pinch
At the market
9 oz flour
3 fl oz dry white wine
1 tbsp fennel seeds
Directions
In a small bowl, mix the salt into the white wine and let sit until dissolved.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, olive oil, salted wine, and fennel seeds. Knead until smooth, then let the dough rest for 20 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Divide the dough into small pieces (about 1 oz each). Roll them into thin ropes, about 0.2 inches thick.
Shape each rope into a ring by wrapping it around your finger and overlapping the ends (like tying a knot).
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 30 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
Serve warm or at room temperature with the tapenade of your choice.
